Once again, former EXO members Kris (Wu Yifan) and Luhan will meet South Korean record label SM Entertainment on Friday, 27 March, for their next round of court-ordered mediation to settle their contract nullification case with the firm.
However, Krishan fans have already lost hopes on a settlement, as this will be the fourth and fifth meeting of ex-K pop boy band members with the entertainment company.
As of now, there are no signs of a compromise from both sides. If the meeting does not lead to a settlement, it would be interesting to see whether the Seoul Central District Court announces the next date for mediation, or order for standard civil proceedings.
Although the legal proceedings may not have much impact on the record label, it will affect the blooming careers of the celebs, who are gradually climbing the ladders in the entertainment industry.
The firm has already taken several steps to halt their activities, forcing the celebs to face several consequences due to the ongoing friction, including the cancellation of CCTV's "Spring Festival Gala".
However, the legal representatives of Kris and Luhan have already revealed that they are not worried about their glamorous career and they will fight until they get justice.
The dispute between Kris, Luhan and SM Entertainment began after the celebs bid goodbye to the company and filed lawsuits against it in last May and October, respectively. Currently, SM Entertainment has taken it to a new level by filing lawsuits against them in Shanghai and Hong Kong Courts, respectively.
