Former UFC juggernaut Brock Lesnar, currently signed with the WWE, could be an integral part of 'Creed 2', which stars Sylvester Stallone and Michael B Jordan. As per reports, the sequel of 'Creed' could see the son of famous Ivan Drago, making an appearance.
The story goes back to Rocky 4 where Dolph Lundgren played the role of Drago. He was the reason behind Apollo Creed's death. Nevertheless, at the end of the movie, we see Rocky Balboa, played by Stallone, finally triumphing over Drago in the boxing bout in Russia.
'Creed', a spin-off of the Rocky series, is based on the life of Apollo's son Adonis who is trained by the old Rocky. While the first movie saw Adonis Creed, played by Jordan, making a successful foray into pro boxing, the second installment in the spin off series will reportedly see him looking for revenge against the son of his father's killer.
The son of Drago could turn out to be none but Brock Lesnar! This has been teased by none other than Stallone himself, leaving a plethora of fans guessing.
'Creed 2' is set for release sometime next year and it needs to be seen IF the parts featuring Lesnar has already been shot or is still being filmed, as you read. As of now, the 'Beast' Brock Lesnar, who presently holds the WWE Universal Championship, will take on either Kane or Braun Strowman at the Royal Rumble 2018 pay-per-view event.
A match between the heavyweights on Monday Night Raw December 11 resulted in a stalemate. The winner was scheduled to take on Lesnar at Royal Rumble.
