HBO's upcoming show "Westworld" is one of the most anticipated sci-fi dramas to come out in 2016. But, the channel has revealed the first look of this show through a series of photos on Twitter.
"Westworld", starring Sir Anthony Hopkins, will premiere on HBO in 2016. But the makers decided to give fans a sneak-peek into this new world during the Comic Con weekend. The first teaser trailer was screened during the panel for CBS' "Person of Interest".
Jonathan Nolan, who created "Person of Interest", has co-created "Westworld" with Lisa Joy and has directed the pilot episode. While the teaser trailer is not officially out yet, HBO decided to tease fans with a series of new photos.

The show is said to have taken inspiration from Michael Crichton's 1973 sci-fi classic by the same name, "Westworld". The film was about how a robot malfunction wreaks havoc and terror at a futuristic amusement park.
The series will mostly be based on the same concept, but it will have some modern twists. HBO had earlier described the show as "a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin."
Meanwhile, a lot of news is coming from the cast room. The latest buzz is that "Lord of The Rings" actress Miranda Otto has already left HBO's "Westworld" because the producers have been considering re-conceiving her role in the pilot episode.
When one quits, four other actors come onboard "Westworld". According to Entertainment Weekly, Clifton Collins Jr (Pacific Rim), Eion Bailey (Fight Club), Jimmi Simpson (House of Cards), and actress Sidse Babbett Knudsen (Almost Perfect) have joined the cast, which includes Sir Anthony Hopkins, James Marsden, Evan Rachel Wood and Thandie Newton.
"Westworld" will debut on HBO in 2016.
