Film sequels are what Bollywood biggies are going for these days and "Welcome Back" is the latest to join the bandwagon. While some failed, others created records at the box office like "Tanu Weds Manu Returns". Below are a few reasons why it might be the comic caper of the year.
Sequel
Even after years of its release, "Welcome" is still one of the best mainstream entertainers of Bollywood. The storyline, although required some hamming by the actors, was intelligently peppered with side-splitting gags. This time, the story is the same. So, this could make for an interesting watch as well.
Cast
Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar had put a stellar show of playing know-it-all dons and they're back with some more fun this time. Apart from this awesome line-up, Paresh Rawal and Naseeruddin Shah have also been roped in to play Ghungroo Seth and Wanted Bhai, respectively.
Dialogues
The one-liners from the trailer are as funny as the first film's and it promises one hell of a ride this time as well.
Comic Timing
The last one was a hit majorly because of its lead actors' comic timing which worked well for the kind of script the makers had on the table.
But, John Abraham has replaced Akshay Kumar and this changes the scene a bit. However, one shouldn't be too quick to write the former off completely, considering he has done comedy earlier too.
