John Abraham starrer "Welcome Back" has become the fourth highest grosser of 2015 and has also come close to Rs 100 crore mark, but the film will not enter the century club at the domestic box office.
"Welcome Back", a comedy entertainer, is the fourth highest Bollywood grosser of 2015. The film, which earned second highest opening weekend collection, had a good first week run and decent second week run at the collection centers. But the box office collection dropped in its third week, which slowed down its collection.
Anees Bazmee's directorial film was expected to cross Rs 100 crore mark at the domestic box office. The film managed to enter the century club at the worldwide box office, but in India, the film's theatrical run has almost stopped.
After fourth weekend, the box office collection of "Welcome Back" stands at Rs 96.17 crore. The film will not surpass Rs 100 crore mark at the box office, as its theatrical run is now expected to stop at approximately Rs 98 crore.
Earlier Akshay Kumar's "Baby", and now "Welcome Back" failed to enter the century club just because of few crore. Akshay's "Baby" earned Rs 95.56 crore and "Welcome Back" is Rs 96.17 crore.
"Welcome Back" is a sequel to 2007 movie "Welcome", which featured Akshay and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.
"Welcome Back", which released on 4 September, features John, Shruti Haasan, Anil Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Nana Patekar, Dimple Kapadia, Naseeruddin Shah and Sakshi Maggo in pivotal roles.
