South Korean actor Nam Joo Hyuk, who is popularly known for his role as the talented swimmer Jung Joon Hyung in MBC series Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, has apparently got entangled in a love triangle with f(x) member Krystal and Six Flying Dragons actress Shin Se Kyung during the filming of upcoming romantic comedy drama Bride Of The Water God.
The television adaption of the popular manhwa (Korean comic series) of the same name is slated to premiere on tvN in the third week of July and it features the 23-year-old actor as the male protagonist Ha Baek. His character is described as a water god, who presides over a drought-stricken village.
The period drama revolves around the life of a neuropsychiatrist named So Ah, who sacrifices her life for the villagers and decides to become the Bride Of The Water God. The title character will be played by actress Shin Se Kyung.

As the story progresses, Nam Joo Hyuk's character gets involved in a love triangle with the female lead and goddess Hye Ra, played by f(x) member Krystal. So, the Korean drama lovers across the globe are eager to find out how the onscreen couple get their happy ending.
The mini-series also features Drinking Solo star Gong Myung as a lead cast member. He will be portraying the role of a wind god named Bi Ryum, who helps the water god and has a secret crush on goddess Hye Ra.
Bride Of The Water God will be airing on tvN every Mondays and Tuesdays at 11pm KST after the finale of upcoming science fiction drama Circle. "The period drama will be airing as a Monday-Tuesday drama. It is scheduled to air in mid-July following Circle," confirmed the broadcast network through the press release.
