Its celebration time for the team of "Kakki Satti" starring Siva Karthikeyan, as the movie continue its successful run at the box office in the third weekend. Latest reports suggest the movie tops all latest releases in the weekend collections of Chennai, followed by new releases "Rajathandhiram" and "Mahabalipuarm".
According to Behindwoods, "Kakki Satti" has earned ₹4,05,12,079 and has been declared a hit in Chennai. The weekend collection of the movie in the city was ₹ 23,99,026 from 93 screenings. The steady run of the movie, despite the release of many movies, is seen as commendable by many.
For Siva Karthikeyan, the movie has turned out to be one of the most successful in his career, and the actor has thanked the audience, fans, media and fans' associations for their love and support to him and his movie.

The industry is now waiting to see how the movie fares at the box office after the release of nearly eight Tamil movies on 20 March.
Out of the recent releases, it's "Rajathandhiram" that has managed to strike a chord with the audience. In the weekend reports, the movie has been ranked at number two in its first weekend and the makers of the movie are now expecting it to have a good run in the next weekend also.
"Rajathandhiram" had an average opening in Chennai box office, with weekend collection of ₹17,57,322 from 69 shows.
Another new movie "Mahabalipuram' has managed to secure the third position, after getting some mixed reviews from critics and audience. The movie made a total collection of ₹16,43,542 from 87 screens in Chennai.
With many new films released, "Enakkul Oruvan" starring Siddharth has been pushed to the fifth position, whereas Dhanush's "Anegan" is in eighth position. Ajith's "Yennai Arindhaal" has also suffered a fall in box office collections and the movie is now placed at ninth; Vikram's "I" is in tenth place.
