The daughter of Gali Janardhan Reddy, a former Karnataka minister and a business tycoon, is set to tie the knot with Rajeev Reddy, son of Hyderabad-based big industrialist Vikram Devarareddy. The wedding will take place at the Palace Grounds in Bengaluru, Karnataka, on November 16. The Reddy family is reportedly spending around Rs 550 crore on the extravagant marriage.
Gali Janardhan Reddy has reportedly invited leading politicians and business tycoons for his daughter's marriage and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu and AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu are some of the politicians who are expected to attend this big-fat wedding.
The BJP leader has also invited several celebs from the Kannada and Telugu film industries. Some photos featuring Janardhan Reddy giving invitations to Upendra, Ravichandran and Parvathamma Rajkumar have gone viral on the social media. Many from these two film industries are expected to grace the wedding.
The guest list of Gali Janardhan Reddy also includes the names of some big-wigs from the Hindi film industry. Shah Rukh Khan, Prabhu Deva, Katrina Kaif and Tamannaah Bhatia are some of the Bollywood celebs who are said to be attending Bramhani's marriage. It is rumoured that these stars will perform on this occasion. However, there is no official confirmation about the news from the Reddy family.
If we are to go by the reports, Gali Janardhan Reddy has shelled out Rs 5 crore on the designing of wedding invitation cards. The boxed invitation has an LCD screen inside it. When opened it, LCD screen gets alive text announces "Bramhani Weds Rajeev Reddy" followed by a song and dance sequence.
The video, which has been made in different languages, features Janardhana Reddy, his son and wife singing the song Atithi Devo Bhava (the guest is a God). The video also introduces the couple, who are set to enter the wedlock. The bride is seen swirling in her expensive lehenga.
