Indian stars at Wimbledon, Leander Paes, Rohan Bopanna and Sania Mirza, will all be in action on Monday with their respective doubles partners.
The top-seeded pair in the women's doubles -- Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis -- will face the sixteenth-seeded pair from Spain, Anabel Medina Garrigues and Arantxa Parra Santonja, who defeated Marina Erakovic-Heather Watson in the second round.
Sania and Hingis have been in great form as they have brushed aside their opponents in the first and second rounds with ease. The Indo-Swiss pair came up with a thumping win in the second round clash against the pair of Kimiko Date-Krumm and Francesca Schiavone with the score reading 6-0, 6-1.
It is such kind of performances, which have helped Sania and Hingis win a number of titles since they became a team earlier in the year.
Coming to the men's doubles, after the exit of Mahesh Bhupathi, India's hopes lie with Leander Paes, who partners Daniel Nestor, and Rohan Bopanna, who is playing with Florin Mergea.
Paes and Nestor, who have been seeded 11th in the competition, will face the pairing of Bruno Fraga Soares and Alexander Peya in the third round of the competition.
Paes and Nestor were tested in their second round clash against Teymuraz Gabashvili and Yen-Hsun Lu, as the game stretched for three hours and 15 minutes.
Paes and Nestor eventually prevailed, with the score reading 5-7, 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (7-4), 7-5. The Indo-Canadian pair hopefully have had a good rest on Sunday as they need to be strong against the pairing of Soares and Peya, who are seeded eighth in the competition.
With the competition moving into the business end, Paes and Nestor need to bring in their doubles experience into play to move ahead in the competition.
India's Rohan Bopanna and Romania's Florin Mergea have been in great form this Wimbledon as they have not lost a single set in the competition. The Indo-Romanian pair will face a stern test in the form of Lukasz Kubot and Max Miryni in the third round of the men's doubles.
The unseeded pair of Kubot and Miryni will be high on confidence after they defeated the sixth seed Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez in straight sets during their second round encounter.
The big serving Miryni has been known for his serves, which is going to test the pairing of Bopanna and Mergea.
