Season 7 episode 8 of The Walking Dead is the midseason finale of AMC's zombie apocalypse drama, and if the information provided by a The Walking Dead spoiler forum is true, then the episode will see Negan killing Spencer, who is a member of the Alexandria Safe Zone.
TSDF Army, replying to a question on whether Spencer will have the guts to talk to Negan about getting rid of Rick, revealed that the leader of The Sanctuary will gut Spencer in the midseason finale.
"He does, and Negan initially disagrees that he has guts, until he slices Spencer's abdomen open, finding them. This all happens during a game of pool with several onlookers," wrote TSDF, adding that by the time Rick returns both Olivia and Spencer will be dead.
The deaths of Glenn and Abraham in the Season 7 premiere had plummeted Rick's spirits, and the first half of the season saw the leader of Alexandria Safe Zone doing his best to not antagonize Negan to prevent many more casualties. But the midseason finale will see Rick taking the decision to fight back, and this will be further explored in the second half of the season.
"Rick and the ASZ gang go to Hilltop to talk with Maggie, and Rick admits Maggie was right from the start,"TSDF Army wrote, revealing how the episode will end. "Surprise! Daryl is there! Rick and Daryl hug it out and Daryl presents Rick with his Python that he retrieved from Dead Joey. Very sweet reunions all around. Rick finally has his fight back and the group is ready to push forward against Negan."
The Walking Dead airs Sundays on AMC.
