The Golden State Warriors looked in a majestic form throughout the NBA Playoffs, and beat Cleveland Cavaliers 4-1 to win their second title in three years. Kevin Durant, who received the NBA Final MVP award, was the best player for the Warriors final, shining both offensively and defensively as well.
The Warriors came into Game 5, with a 3-1 lead and Durant scored an impressive 39 points en route to his maiden NBA title as well. The season could not have ended any better for Durant after joining the Warriors in free agency. The former Thunders man proved to be worth every penny, and the MVP title was the icing on the cake.
After the match, there were some massive celebrations in front of their home crowd, which made the win extra special.
However, there was one celebration which caught everyone's eye as MVP Durant and his mother, Wanda, who was present at the Oracle Arena during the final, shared a special moment after the match got over.
It was an emotional moment for both the mother and the son, who was almost in tears as Wanda pulled and told him 'You did it'. It was such an emotional scene, where Durant could not even look at his mother and Wanda had to ask him to look at her and repeat the words, 'You did it'.

That was not the only moment which grabbed headlines. Wanda also embraced Durant with a hug and later on did the same to Stephen Curry. This was a special post-season for the Warriors who only lost one match in the entire Playoffs en route to their amazing title.
