Not too many cricket fans may be aware of Rashid Khan, who came into prominence among Indians after being bagged by Sunrisers Hyderabad during IPL 2017 for a whopping Rs 4 crore.
The 18-year-old Afghanistan leg break spinner took seven wickets in an ODI cricket match against West Indies on Friday June 9, and we cannot help but be in awe.
The rise and rise of Rashid Khan. 7-18 against the West Indies. What a gem. Wrist spin and the West Indies just don't go together!!

West Indies were bowled out for just 149 runs, thanks to Rashid's brilliance. He took the seven wickets from 8.4 overs, giving away just 18 runs. As a result, the Caribbean side suffered a shambolic 63-run defeat against Afghanistan at the Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in St. Lucia.
The wickets from Rashid consisted three LBW dismissals, two bowled outs and two catch dismissals.
Rashid Khan continues his stardom at the Caribbean. Claims a whopping 7/18 in the first ODI against WI. Bravo!
