The first teaser of Rajesh Pillai's psychological thriller "Vettah" was released at 5 pm on Monday, Feb. 15, by Malayalam music label Muzik247. The movie has Manju Warrier and Kunchacko Boban in the lead.
Manju plays a police commissioner named Sribala and Kunchacko will be seen as Melvin in the thriller, which marks the comeback of the couple after their blockbuster film "How Old Are You." Manju's character in the upcoming movie is said to be realistic, unlike the usual on-screen bold cops the audience are familiar with. The director had earlier revealed that the movie was inspired by women police officers like Sandhya IPS, Sreelekha IPS and Nishantini IPS.
A few days ago, Manju had released her first-look poster from the film as a police officer, and it was well accepted by the audience.
