Kiki challenge is the new social media sensation that has people jumping out of their moving cars just to shake a leg. The viral challenge has gone so viral that the police in India has warned people against it and even regarded it as a punishable offense under the law. Well, that hasn't effectively stopped everyone from doing this risky stunt, especially this duo from the Indian state of Telangana.
The reason behind restricting people from participating in the #KikiChallenge on roads is for their own safety. Keeping in mind the safety factor, two farmers – Anil Geela and Pilli Tirupati – did the Kiki Challenge in such a way that even cops won't mind.
Instead of burning fuel and dancing beside a moving car, the two Telangana farmers decided to take the challenge with a "desi" twist. The video shows the duo plowing a field with their cattle and then started dancing to the tune of Drake's "In my feelings" song.
The end result, we'll let you watch it:
Riding on the popularity of the Kiki Challenge, the video featured on the channel My Village Show has garnered over a million view on Facebook and thousands of people have shared it. In addition, the video also shared on Instagram, has crossed 75,000 on My Village Show account and over 5M via 9Gag. These numbers are rising by the minute and Anil and Pilli couldn't be happier with their overnight popularity.
According to TOI, which interviewed the duo, Anil is a teacher in a private school and Pilli is a farmer. Anil picked up on the Kiki Challenge trend and decided to make a video for his channel My Village Show, which usually shows the life about villages through YouTube videos.
This duo certainly managed to complete the challenge that has everyone talking and yet abide by the law. Kudos!
