The theatrical trailer of the upcoming Malayalam movie "White" was released on the YouTube channel of Eros Now Malayalam on Tuesday, April 19. The one-minute-22-second trailer features megastar Mammootty and Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi, with the latter narrating the trailer.
The Uday Ananthan-directed movie is one of the most awaited movies in Malayalam this year, and is the second project of Mammootty in 2016 after the superhit "Puthiya Niyamam." The movie has been making headlines ever since its makers announced the Bollywood actress' Malayalam debut: She will be seen romancing the megastar.
Mammootty plays a millionaire settled in London named Prakash Roy, who falls in love with the 25-year-old Roshni Menon, played by Huma. The stylish look of Mammootty in the first-look posters of the film have already raised the audiences' expectations from the movie.
The film has been co-written by Uday, Nandini Valsan and Praveen Balakrishnan, and Rahul Raj has composed its music, with lyrics penned by Rafeeq Ahamed. "White," shot majorly in London, Budapest and other locations across Europe, is expected to hit the screens in May.
