The first teaser of Asif Ali's upcoming movie "Anuraga Karikkin Vellam" was released on Friday, May 6. The 36-second video was uploaded on the YouTube channel of August Cinema.

The teaser of the Khalid Rahman directorial features Biju Menon, Asha Sarath and Asif. Biju and Asha play as a couple and Asif is seen as their son. The movie also has Rejisha Vijayan and Sreenath Bhasi in pivotal roles. "Anuraga Karikkin Vellam" is being scripted by Naveen Bhaskar and Prasanth Pilla has composed the music for the movie. Jimshy Khalid handles the cinematography of the film, for which editing has been done by Noufal Abdullah.

"Anuraga Karikkin Vellam" is being co-produced by Prithviraj Sukumaran, Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadesan and Arya under the banner of August Cinema India Pvt Ltd. The upcoming movie is the second production venture of the banner this year after Prithviraj's "Darvinte Parinamam," which was only opened to an average response from audience.

Asif, who was last seen in Manoj Palodan's "Ithu Thaanda Police," has "Avarude Raavukal," "Adventures Of Omanakuttan," "Silent Radio," and "Kavi Udheshichath..?" in his kitty for the year. The actor, who also forayed as a producer with the movie "Kohinoor," will also be financing the upcoming Prithviraj-starrer "Beautiful Game" under the banner of Adam's World of Imagination.
