This Diwali is going to be a real treat for cinema lovers. Apart from new releases, films to be aired on popular television channels are also set to enthrall the audience.

Ajith's "Arrambam", Karthi's "All in All Azhaguraja" and Vishal's "Pandiya Nadu" is all set to hit the screens during the festival period of Diwali. Apart from these, several blockbuster flicks that released this year will be aired on a few television channels.

"Vishwaroopam"

Kamal Haasan's super hit flick "Vishwaroopam" will be premiered this Diwali on Vijay TV. Despite its release issues, the film turned out to be a blockbuster. According to reports, "Vishwaroopam" grossed over ₹150 crore at the box office.

The film, written and directed by Kamal Haasan, has him playing the male lead. The other cast members include Pooja Kumar, Andrea, Shekar Kapur and Rahul Bose in pivotal roles.

Kamal is currently working on the sequel to "Vishwaroopam", which is all set to hit the screens in November this year. Speculations are rife that Kamal is eyeing a 22 November release, but an official confirmation on the same is yet to be made.

"Singam 2"

Latest buzz doing the rounds is that Suriya's "Singam 2" will be screened on Sun TV. "Singam 2", which released in July, is one of the biggest hits of this year.

The film, a sequel to "Singam", received mixed but mostly positive reviews from critics. The Suriya starrer opened to massive response and earned huge collections at the box office.

Directed by Hari, "Singam 2" is about a righteous cop who is on a mission to crackdown drug dealers. The film retained most of the star cast from the original including Anushka Shetty, Vivek, Radha Ravi, Nassar, Yuvarani among others. In addition, the sequel had new cast members including Hansika Motwani, Santhanam, Rahman, Mukesh Rishi and Hollywood actor Danny Sapani.

Besides these films, other popular flicks including "Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiyaa" (Sun TV), "Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer", "Sonna Puriyathu" (Kalaignar TV) and "Soodhu Kavvum" (Zee Tamil) are likely to be screened for Diwali.
