As season 11 of "Supernatural" progresses, we see the Winchester brothers getting even more desperate to find the Darkness and destroy her. Although they had decided to focus on other cases till they get more information on Amara aka Darkness, it looks like the brothers cannot put it off any longer.
In the last episode, "Thin Lizzie" Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) learnt that the baby that they saw in Deputy Jenna's (Laci J. Mailey) house has grown into a 12-year-old girl, who is eating souls and getting hungrier by the day. Unknown to them, she is also watching the brothers, looking forward to the day when she can meet them face-to-face.
We can gather that she no longer requires "Uncle Crowley" (Mark Sheppard), seeing that she has learnt everything there is to learn in the world. The King of Hell is obviously losing his hold on Amara, as referred earlier above; he is dealing with powers that he cannot contain. Sooner or later, Crowley will have to turn to his old friends – the Winchesters.
In the upcoming episode 6 "Our Little World", we see Sam and Dean debating about whether or not Castiel (Misha Collins) is ready to help them; after all, he only just recovered from the curse Rowena (Ruth Connell) put on him. In the end, they decide that they need all the help they can get, especially from the only Angel friend they have.
In "Our Little World" Cas tries to contact his old nemesis Metatron (Curtis Armstrong), who has seemingly abandoned his mission to take over Heaven and become the new God, and is living as a freelance videographer for the local news.
He is very happy with his new life, and has no intention of helping Sam, Dean or Cas. However, the news of Darkenss' arrival generally seems to inspire people into taking action, and hopefully it will do the same to Metatron.
Watch out for season 11 episode 6 of "Supernatural" at 9.00 pm (EST) on Wednesday, 11 November. You can also live stream "Out Little World" via CWTV.
