Kara is back from the dream world of Black Mercy and in "Supergirl" Episode 14 "Truth, Justice and the American Way," she will be seen fighting a new monster in National City. The upcoming episode will also see the debut of Italia Ricci in the show, but it may be a while before she emerges as the villainous Silver Banshee.
In "Truth, Justice and the American Way," Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) will be seen hiring a second assistant, Siobhan Smythe, who is the civilian alter ego of Silver Banshee. We reported a while back that Silver Banshee will be the villain in "The Flash"/"Supergirl" crossover episode, which will mark Episode 18 titled "Worlds Finest."
Siobhan probably will not come out as the Silver Banshee until a few episodes later, but that does not mean she will not cause trouble for Kara (Melissa Benoist) at Cat Co. In fact, Siobhan and Kara are expected to butt heads in the coming episodes, especially considering they are both doing the same job.

Meanwhile, the weekly villain for Episode 14 is going to be Master Jailer (Jeff Branson), who has taken it up on himself to execute prisoners escaping from Fort Rozz. According to the comic books, the super villain identity of Master Jailer was taken on by Carl Draper, who was an employee of STAR Labs.
STAR Labs, as fans know, is a building in Flash's (Grant Gustin) Central City, which, as far as we can tell, is in a different universe according to TV Shows. That would also explain why "The Flash"/"Supergirl" crossover episode is called "Worlds Finest" and not "World's Finest."
It is also understood that Lucy Lane (Jenna Dewan-Tatum) will learn about her boyfriend James' (Mehcad Brooks) secret friendship with the Woman of Steel and that he works with the DEO. Considering she is a smart attorney, it shouldn't be long until she learns that Kara is a Supergirl and that Kara and James have a will-they-wont-they thing going on.
Watch Season 1 Episode 14 of "Supergirl" at 8 p.m. (EST) on Monday, Feb. 22, 2016. You can also live stream "Truth, Justice and the American Way" via CBS Live.
