Season 6 of "Suits" is inching closer towards revealing Mike's (Patrick J Adams) immediate future, and whether he will spend the next two years in prison. The upcoming Season 6 episode 8 titled "Borrowed Time" will see Harvey (Gabriel Macht) spending all his time and energy on closing Sutter's (Alan Rosenberg) case and getting Mike out.
As fans saw in the previous episode, all the efforts that Harvey and Mike have made over the course of Season 6 proved worthless, when Cahill's (Neal McDonough) superiors refused to honour the deal he made with Harvey.
The banker who was guilty of helping Sutter with all the inside tradings cut a separate deal with the SEC. Although Cahill had hoped he could still go through with their arrangement, which also included immunity for Kevin's (Erik Palladino) wife, it is all off the table.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Harvey going all out against Cahill in order to ensure Mike's safety. "We had a deal and you broke it. So, not I'm breaking it too," Harvey is seen telling Cahill in the promo clip for "Suits" Season 6 episode 8.
Meanwhile, a fight breaks out between Mike and Kevin in prison. Clearly the latter is upset at how everything unravelled. Now, not only will he keep rotting in jail, but his wife will also end up in prison, and Kevin blames Mike and Harvey for this.
The official synopsis for "Suits" Season 6 episode 8 reads:
Harvey counters Cahill's star witness; Mike tries to deliver a witness himself; Jessica and Rachel try to delay Leonard's execution; Louis adjusts to life as the other man.
