The first video song from the comedy entertainer "King Liar," titled "Perumnunappuzha," was released Tuesday, April 12, on the YouTube channel of Satyam Audios.
The 3-minute-33-second song, featuring Dileep and Madonna Sebastian, has received mixed response from the audience. Singers Vijay Yesudas and Manjari have lent their voices to the song, for which lyrics have been penned by Vayalar Sarathchandra Varma and music composed by Alex Paul.
The video song has been viewed more than 6,000 times within hours of its release. Recently, the video on the making of the song "Anjali" from the movie was released on the YouTube channel of Manorama Online.
"King Liar" was one of the most anticipated movies of the year as successful director duo Siddique and Lal reunited for the Dileep-starrer after a gap of 22 years. Written by Siddique and directed by Lal, it released April 2 to mixed response from the audience. The flick is said to be a typical Dileep movie, showcasing his brand of comedy solely for his fans.
The 2-hour-38-minute film also has Lal, Asha Sharath, Balu Varghese, Joy Mathew, Siddique, Natasha Suri, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Balu Varghese, Soubin Shahir and Balachandran Chullikkad in pivotal roles. The Dileep-starrer, which narrates the story of a liar, has been produced by Ouseppachan Valakkuzhy under the banner of Valakuzhi Films.
