Fiona (Emmy Rossum) has gone through hell in the ongoing Season 6 of "Shameless," but finally it looks like things might be taking a turn for the better, especially with her wedding to Sean (Dermot Mulroney). However, considering it is a Gallagher wedding, things are not going to go too smoothly.
As fans saw, Fiona had to deal with the possibility of losing her home, her siblings getting estranged from her, Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) being a criminal, Ian's (Cameron Monaghan) bipolar disorder, Debbie (Emma Kenney) throwing away her life by being a teen mom and her estranged husband making her life miserable, all in the course of 10 episodes. However, almost all of those issues have been resolved, even if new ones may be cropping up.
Fiona managed to buy the house they live in, thanks to Carl's financial assistance. Carl, as of "Paradise Lost," has decided to work for the law instead of outside it. Meanwhile, the issues with Fiona's ex-husband Gus (Steve Kazee) was sorted out after he decided to get married again and she returned the engagement ring he gave her. The small victory was followed by Sean, who had bought the ring from the pawn shop, proposing to Fiona.
Meanwhile, Ian has been dating his firefighter boyfriend Caleb (Jeff Pierre), who is a total opposite of Mickey (Noel Fisher). Caleb has been really good for Ian, even helping him pass his EMT test. However, Caleb had coerced Ian into lying about his bipolar disorder in the form he had to submit for the test. Ian is surely going to face the consequences of that decision sooner or later.

Debbie, on the other hand, went against Fiona's wishes and gave birth to her daughter Frances in the previous episode. She has decided to raise the baby all on her own, and it will be interesting to see how she will learn that it is impossible.
The one Gallagher Fiona did not have to worry about recently, Lip (Jeremy Allen White), is the one who has been on a downward spiral since the last few episodes. He is turning into an alcoholic and lapsing on his work in the university as a result.
In the upcoming episode, he will receive a warning from Professor Youens (Alan Rosenberg) who has had enough of Lip's insolence. The professor tells him that if Lip does not pull his load, he might end up loosing his scholarship.
The upcoming episode will also see Sean and Frank (William H Macy) getting in to a fight, even though the Gallagher dad was all about helping his oldest daughter plan her wedding.
