It is no secret that Season 6 Episode 1 of "Shameless" has been leaked online, and most ardent fans have already watched it. However, for those of you sticklers for rules, "Shameless" Season 6 will premiere on Sunday via Showtime.
When we last saw the Gallaghers, each family member was caught up in their own little situations. While newlywed Fiona (Emmy Rossum) started sleeping with her boss, her younger sister Debbie (Emma Kenney) successfully tricked her boyfriend into getting her pregnant.
Debbie was hoping she could emulate Derek's (Lucas Oriel) sister-in-law, who got pregnant when she was a teenager, and be a part of Derek's "normal" family. Season 5 had ended with Debbie taking a pregnancy test, and from the looks of it, she was pregnant, and while she was ecstatic, we are certain Fiona isn't going to be happy about it.
Meanwhile, Lip (Jeremy Allen White) was caught up in a volatile relationship with his married professor. Professor Helene (Sasha Alexander) and her husband have an open relationship, and the sex does not seem to mean much to her, but from the looks of it, Lip is falling in love with her.
His brother Ian (Cameron Moneghan), on the other hand, seems to be falling out of love, having broken things off with boyfriend Mickey (Noel Fisher) in the Season 5 finale episode, "Love Songs (In the Key of Gallagher)". In the promo for Season 6, Ian is seen visiting Mickey in prison, and the latter has gotten "Ian Galagher" tattooed on his chest.
Although the moment is very sweet, it looks like Ian is not ready to take Mickey, especially considering he is in there for attempting a murder. It is not a small offence, and Mickey is going to be in there for long time. Ian does have a healthy sex drive, and he is bipolar, meaning he might not be able to settle for someone who is locked up for the next few years.
Carl (Ethan Cutkosky), on the other hand, is getting out of prison, and it will be interesting to see how staying in juvenile prison has changed him. From what we saw in Season 5, he has done well for himself and has even made friends — or followers, if you will.
Their father Frank (William H Macy) on the other hand is completely devastated when "Shameless" returns, still reeling from the death of his girlfriend Bianca (Bojana Novakovic). Bianca was slowly succumbing to terminal pancreatic cancer, and decides to freewheel with Frank.
Frank is unable to process the pain and is seen pleasuring himself by her grave in a promo for Season 6.
