In the latest instalment of "Shahs of Sunset," Mike Shouhed and Jessica Parido's marital problems come to light. The reality stars see a therapist in order to assess their differences and find a way to move past them. This is the crux of Season 5 episode 6 titled "A Cat-astrophic Night."
Ever since Mike started dating Jessica, his relationship with the rest of squad has faltered. But the latest episode of Bravo's reality TV show, Season 5 episode 6, depicts that so has his marriage. Mike and his partner, who have been married for only a few months find themselves unable to live with each other.
"You know we've been having marital problems. It's just something I'm trying to understand," he tells the therapist in episode 7 promo.
He later reveals that his wife moved out because she wanted to take a break and sounds a bit worried when he says Jessica didn't return even after a few days.
While the therapist tries to figure out what's gone wrong between the two, Mike's partner states that some issues between them haven't been resolved. She also highlights the fact that she feels disempowered after changing herself for him.
Fans of the show will remember that Mike and Jessica filed for divorce just eight months after their wedding. The "Shahs of Sunset" cast member cheated on his partner before they were married and told her about it after Jessica found a text message.
The synopsis (via TV Guide) for Season 5 episode 6 states that a shocking revelation about Mike's marriage will be made at co-star Asa Soltan's mother's retirement party. Does Mike tell the rest of the squad about his marriage? Does Jessica ask for a divorce in episode 6? This remains to be seen.
