Two powerhouses of Italian football Juventus and Napoli clash swords in their Serie A match on Saturday at the Juventus Stadium in Turin.
The mouthwatering clash, featuring the top two sides in the Italian top flight this season, has the potential to decide who becomes the Serie A 2015/16 champions in the end. While Napoli remain on top with 56 points from 24 games, Juventus remain just a position below with 54 points from 24 games.
Both teams are on a sensational run in the Serie A this time. While Napoli have eight-straight victories in the league, Juventus are on a whopping 14-game winning streak in the Serie A.
Former Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain is the man of the moment in the Italian league. The Argentina international has 24 goals from 24 Serie A appearance for the Naples outfit this season, and the 28-year-old forward is not willing to back down.
"Napoli are not just Higuain," Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri was quoted by the Press Association. "They have the second best defence in the division, and the best attack.
''Higuain is having the best season of his life. It will be difficult to mark him but there are plenty of other dangerous players to worry about," Allegri maintained.
Higuain, on his part, is grateful to Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri for his improvement this season. "He [Sarri] focuses on highlighting my weaknesses. When we first met, he told me right away what he thought of me - both the good and the bad. After that I've been able to learn better from my mistakes," the goal-poacher said.
''Sarri has given me all this confidence. I appreciate his honesty and he knows good football.''
Juventus may not have the likes of Giorgio Chiellini, Mario Mandzukic, Kwadwo Asamoah, Martin Caceres and Rubinho available for Saturday's game, but the other available players, including Claudio Marchisio, Paul Pogba, Alvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala can anyday inspire the Old Lady to glory.
For Napoli, there are no injury concerns, and that remains a major positive news for Sarri's side.
