In the upcoming episode titled "Adaptation" of CBS' action-drama series "Scorpion," Walter (Elyes Gabel) and his men will try to put an end to a drug empire that is using high-end technological devices to smuggle drugs.

According to the synopsis by TV.com, "Team Scorpion must stop an influx of drugs that are being smuggled into the country by drones. Meanwhile, Walter gives Happy (Jadyn Wong) and Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) an ultimatum on their new relationship."
The technology-savvy drug gang is smuggling narcotics in various parts of the US using drones. Walter and team are trying their best to trace the gang but the drones are untraceable and move with lightning speed.
Elsewhere, due to their newfound romance, Happy and Toby are ignoring work often. Unable to tolerate it, Walter gives them an ultimatum and warns them if they don't follow the team rules, he will fire them.
Whether Team Scorpion is able to capture the mysterious drug-smuggling gang will be seen when Episode 17 airs.
In the previous episode, titled "Fractured," when Sylvester (Ari Stidham) took Ralph (Riley B Smith) on a field trip to the beach, Paige (Katharine McPhee) forced Toby and Walter, who had been constantly fighting, to take a couple's therapy session for business partners.
However, their therapist's (Penn Jillette) credentials were from online colleges and his methods were unusual.
Elsewhere, Cabe (Robert Patrick) and Paige helped prepare Happy with a presentation for her newly designed airbag to a prospective client. While this was going on, a major earthquake of at least 7.5 magnitude hit the LA area, causing major infrastructural damage to the city, including water main explosions and major fires.
The team had to work fast with limited resources to stop a broken gas main under Korea Town from exploding and destroying the entire city.
