Getting fit and healthy is the most important mantra that many celebrities follow through proper workout and diet. Tamil-Telugu actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who enjoys a huge fan following in south India, is no different in maintaining her perfect figure.
A video of Samantha working out in a gym has started doing the rounds on social media, after it was shared on Facebook by the actress' coach Kunal Gir. In the video, the "Naan Ee" actress is seen deadlifting more than 100 kgs thrice. The coach even asks if she is a woman of steel. "Samantha Ruth Prabhu deadlifting more than 100kgs ( 225lbs ) for 3 reps. Woman of Steel??," writes coach Kunal Gir, while sharing the video on his Facebook page.
While many have appreciated the actress for her achievement, some have even criticised the coach saying the way she does the weightlifting is going to hurt her back. The video has gone viral with more than 6.3 lakh Facebook users viewing in less than a day.
Meanwhile, on the career front, Samantha was last seen in "Bangalore Naatkal", which is the Tamil remake of the blockbuster Malayalam movie "Bangalore Days". She has a handful of projects in her kitty, including Vijay's much-awaited filck "Theri," Suriya's "24," Dhanush's "Vada Chennai," Mahesh Babu's bilingual movie "Brahmotsavam" and Nithin's "A...Aa".
