Ruler Master Of The Mask returns with episodes 3 and 4 on MBC this Thursday, May 11, at 10pm KST and it could feature a blossoming romance between the onscreen couple, Crown Prince Lee Sun and Han Ga Eun.
The first two episodes of the Korean period drama revolved around the struggles of a King to protect his son and his kingdom from a powerful and wealthy organisation called Pyunsoo Hwe. As of now, the title character does not have a major role to play in the story.
The mini-series featured Yoo Seung Ho's character wandering around in search of answers for some of the questions related to his life and childhood. He wants to know why his father is rude to him and does not allow him to roam around with others without a mask.

However, the King of Joseon dynasty has his own reasons for making his son Master Of The Mask. Although he joined Pyunsoo Hwe to become the King, he wanted to quit the organisation after realising its evil intentions. But it was already too late and whenever he tried to move against them, they tried to harm his loved ones.
They leader of the organisation Dae Mok even tried to kill the Crown Prince by poisoning him few days after his birth. So the King had to give them the monopoly of nation's water supply. When they tried to include Lee Sun in the group, his father hid his face from everybody.
In episode 2 of Ruler Master Of The Mask, the male protagonist became really desperate to know the reason for his father to hide his face. In order to get an answer, he ran away from the palace.
The trailer for episodes 3 and 4 shows the King and the people from Pyunsoo Hwe group searching for the Crown Prince while he enjoys sometime out with the female protagonist Han Ga Eun.
