Ruler: Master Of The Mask will be back with episodes 7 and 8 this Thursday, May 18, at 10 pm KST on MBC and it could focus on the rivalry between Crown Prince Lee Sun and the leader of Pyunsoo Hwe group, Kim Dae Mok.
In episodes 5 and 6 of the Korean mini-series, Yoo Seung Ho's character returned to the palace and informed the King about how the Bureau of Water Supply is torturing the poor.

In the meantime, Deputy Magistrate Han Kyu Ho and government official Park Moo Ha begin an investigation against the Pyunsoo Hwe group. But things took a turn for the worst after a loyal servant of Dae Mok came to know about it.
The male antagonist in Ruler: Master Of The Mask begins his investigation about the Crown Prince and gets to know that he is a very weak person. So, the leader of Pyunsoo Hwe comes to a conclusion that killing the loyal servants of Yoo Seung Ho's character could make him weaker.
After poisoning the Crown Prince's childhood friend Chun Soo, Dae Mok forced the King to imprison Deputy Magistrate Han Kyu Ho and government official Park Moo Ha. Both of them were punished for spreading rumours about the Crown Prince.
When the male protagonist came to know, he requested his father to release the government officials. But the King did not just refuse to do so but also urged his son to behead the deputy magistrate in front of the public.

Ruler: Master Of The Mask episode 6 ends with a shocking cliffhanger that hints at the demise of Han Kyu Ho and the trailer for episodes 7 and 8 teases a rivalry between Crown Prince Lee Sun and the leader of Pyunsoo Hwe.
Meanwhile, the promo also features commoner Lee Sun back in the palace and he is likely to help the King in saving the life of Crown Prince. Watch the footage below:
