Ruler: Master Of The Mask will be back with two new episodes this Wednesday, May 17, at 10pm KST on MBC. In episodes 5 and 6, the show might feature the beginning of a rivalry between Crown Prince Lee Sun and commoner Lee Sun.
Cast member Kim Myung Soo has already revealed that his character is quite different from the way he is being portrayed in the first four episodes of the Korean mini-series. "When you see him, you think he's going to be a very quiet and calm person, but he's so charming and can get everyone energised," the Infinite member L said.
In a similar vein, actress Yoon So Hee also teased that the viewers may get to see the other side of commoner Lee Sun in the upcoming episodes of the historical drama. "When you get to know him, you'll find that he kind of has this 'old man' charm to him," Soompi quoted her.

Meanwhile, speculations are rife about a rivalry between Crown Prince Lee Sun and commoner Lee Sun in the upcoming episodes of the period drama and the trailer also teases troubled moments for Yoo Seung Ho's character.
Since the male protagonist in the mini-series has lot of similarities with the young and distrustful Prince in KBS drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth Sammaekjong, rumour mills are riding over a similar story treatment. If so, then the viewership ratings of the MBC drama could drastically drop in the coming days.
Considering the hype created by the broadcasting network before its premiere, the Kdrama fans are really expecting Ruler: Master Of The Mask to keep them clued to the screens with thrilling plot twists.
Even cast member Kim So Hyun has made a rating promise to her fans. "Our cast will open a fan signing event and wear our drama costumes there if we get over 20 percent views," Soompi quoted the actress.
