Morris Chestnut knows how to tickle viewers' funny bones by portraying a never-too-serious private pathologist, Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, in Fox new drama series "Rosewood".
Through the last two episodes, followers of the show learnt a few details about the protagonist's personal and professional life. In episode 3, titled "Have-Nots and Hematomas", they may get more in-depth details on his relationship with the Miami Police Department.

The official synopsis of the third episode read: "A series of mysterious deaths pulls the private pathologist off the glamorous promenades of South Beach when a troubled young genius stands accused of murder, and the only one who believes in his innocence is Rosewood".
The investigation will not just pose a threat to the protagonist's relationship with detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz), but will also bring a new challenge for him. So he must contend with a colourful new adversary, escalating health problems and a burgeoning romantic relationship.
In the meantime, the detective's inability to connect with people will hamper her own ability to investigate the case in the upcoming episode of the television drama.
Other cast members to appear in the sequel include Lorraine Toussaint as Donna Rosewood, Gabrielle Dennis as Pippy Rosewood, Anna Konkle as Tara Milly Izikoff, Domenick Lombardozzi as Captain Ira Hornstock, MacKenzie Astin as Dr. Max Cahn, Kamal Angelo Bolden as Joo Joo, Adam Lazarre White as Delroy Ellis and Keisuke Hoashi as Dr. Wei.
"Rosewood" will be back on FOX with episode 3, titled "Have-Nots and Hematomas", at 8pm on Wednesday, 7 October.
