Kang Dong-joo, the young surgeon, has been the most confusing character of SBS medical drama Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim. He decided to become a successful doctor after his father died due to medical negligence. But now he is not interested in taking any risk to save his patients as he just wants to gain popularity.
Knowing the fact that Yoo Yeon-seok's character could do anything for fame, Do Yoon-wan, the president of Geodae Hospital, approached him with an offer in episode 10. He asked the young surgeon to team up with him to move against his rival, Boo Yong-joo a.k.a Kim Sa-bu.
The upcoming episode of the Korean mini-series will pick up right from where it left the two characters and focus on their next big moves. While speculations suggest that the surgeon will join hands with the antagonist, the official trailer hints at troubled moments for him.

The promo begins by featuring the young surgeon with Choi Jin-ho's character at the guest house. Later on, the chief surgeon of Doldam Hospital is seen confronting him. Is it because he informed the male protagonist about his secret meeting? Even if he did, Kim Sa-bu does not seem to be impressed by him.
In the next scene, Yoo Yeon-seok's character is featured with his senior doctor, Yoon Seo-jung. The clip shows him admitting his feelings for her by holding her face with his hands. He does not even realise that his colleagues are watching him.
The sneak peek video also features his mother at the countryside hospital and the chief of the nurses, Oh Myeong-shim, aggressively observing the posters of Kang Dong-joo in every corner of the hospital.
