The women on "The Real Housewives of New York City" (RHONYC) are back for a new season on Bravo TV. Season 8 of the reality TV series premiers Wednesday, April 6.
This season's cast includes most of the oldies with the exception of Julianne "Jules" Wainstein. The new entrant to the TV show is the only married woman and fans can expect a different storyline for her. In US Weekly's video of the cast members, Jules appears proud of her heritage when she says, "A Jew and an Asian walked into a bar... then they had me."
Returning cast members include Bethenny Frankel, Carole Radziwill, Dorinda Medley, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan.
In Season 8 episode 1 of "The Real Housewives of New York City," the cast members meet for brunch and get introduced to Jules. Their first impression of the event planner borders on the negative when Jules spills personal information at the table.
In the trailer, (via TV Intros) Bethenny says: "Hi, how are you? Have a nice lunch, we are talking about va*****."
Even if the rest of the cast members don't like her, it appears that Dorinda will always stand up for her friend. She says, "Jules is not like us. She is kind and funny."
Will the rest of the gang warm up to her later? Will there be newer alliances in this season? This remains to be seen.
"The Real Housewives of New York City" Season 8 episode 1 airs 9 p.m. EST Wednesday, April 6, on Bravo TV. You can live-stream the episode via Bravo TV's website.
