The young rappers in "The Rap Game" are learning the tricks of their chosen trade fast; and when you are on a crash course on success, it is hard to not get hurt. In the upcoming Season 1 Episode 4 of "The Rap Game", the kids are going to learn what unbiased people actually think of their rapping skills.
In the previously aired "Style and Swagga", the kids learned how to work within a budget and still carry off a style that best represents who they truly are. The lesson on their presentation and attitude also gave Jermaine Dupri a chance to teach the difference between having an attitude and behaving rudely.
In the upcoming episode, the coaches have arranged a focus group that will listen to each of the young rappers. They will then give unbiased feedback regarding the performances, and the rappers will have to accept them.

In the promo, Dupri is heard saying: "These kids think they're strong enough to make it in this game. Ha!" Dupri adds that the focus group will tell him whether his group of young artistes can make it in the real world. It is obviously very scary for the rappers, and many of them are seen disheartened midway through the promo.
Lil Poopy is even seen smacking his forehead after a negative feedback is heard in the voiceover. One of the boys in the focus groups says "this song just sucks," regarding one of the rappers' raps. Dupri is seen shocked just as the boy makes this remark.
