Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor has crooned a funny track for his upcoming movie, "Besharam".
The track has been titled "Love Ki Ghanti" and the video shows Ranbir at his best.
"Love Ki Ghanti", composed by Jatin, has the voices of Ranbir, singers Sujeet Shetty and Amitosh Nagpal.
The director of "Besharam", Abhinav Kashyap was keen on having Ranbir sing a song for the movie. "When this concept was formulated, there were no second thoughts about Ranbir singing this song as it is almost in verse form and any other sound wouldn't have worked. It was the most appropriate thing to do and we had a lot of fun while doing this," Kashyap said.
As per reports, the track "Love Ki Ghanti" will introduce Ranbir character in the movie.
"Besharam" hit the headlines for its trailer that was launched on 30 July. The trailer continues to draw ire from fans of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan even after a few weeks. The fans of the superstars have gone into frenzy alleging that the young actor was mocking their favourite stars
The promo shows Ranbir rendering Shah Rukh's famous song "Tujhe Dekha To Ye Jaana Sanam'" from the film, "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge" (DDLJ) and is seen urinating in mustard fields, depicting the scenario in which the actual song was shot.
Also, Ranbir's dialogue with reference to Salman's role of Chulbul Pandey from the film, "Dabangg" has irked Salman's fans. In the promo of "Besharam" Ranbir is heard saying, "Naam Chulbul rakhne se, koi Dabangg nai banjaata."
"Besharam" also stars newcomer Pallavi Sharda in the female lead role and Ranbir's parents - Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh.
