It's a repeat of last year's final at the Pro Kabaddi League 2015 today, as leaders U Mumba get set to take on Jaipur Pink Panthers for the second time this year.
The result of the game, however, is expected to go one way, as the Mumbai side are in a class of their own this season.
With eight wins from the same number of matches and a place in the playoffs already set, U Mumba comfortably sit at the top with full a 40 points. Their nearest competitors remain the Telugu Titans with 39 points, but the Hyderabad side have played two extra matches.
The Pink Panthers on the other hand are stuck third from bottom, with just 16 points from eight games. The defending champions started their campaign this year on a losing note as they were defeated by U Mumba in their inaugural match this year.
The luck has stayed with the Mumbai side.
Their latest win came against Dabang Delhi and Mumbai youngster Bhupender Singh remained the key man during the match. Apart from him, the big names in the U Mumba roster doesn't seem to end.
From skipper Anup Kumar to Vishal Mane, Jeeva Kumar to Surender Nada, and Shabeer Bapu to Mohit Chillar – the list is endless.
And Ravi Shetty, coach of U Mumba, will be one happy man, as he looks ahead to the six remaining games in the league season this year.
For the Jaipur side, all hope is not lost yet as they can still make it to the fourth position in the table by the end of the league phase, but only if they pick up all five points today. And with five losses and two wins so far, it looks like a herculean task anyway.
The Jaipur Pink Panthers have been able to get victories over Bengaluru Bulls and Puneri Paltan only this year, but it must be said that the whopping 13-point margin win over the Bulls last month have been one of their highlights of this season.
Kuldeep Singh and Jasvir Singh were instrumental in their win against the Bulls on the day, and the duo will be looking once more to giving a dominating performance this time as well.
The performance of Jaipur Pink Panthers skipper Navneet Gautam will also be key in the match.
The action takes place at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad, and gets under way at 8 pm IST (3:30pm BST).
