The teaser of upcoming Malayalam movie "Oozham" was officially launched by young superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran, director Jeethu Joseph and producers G George and Anto Padinjarekkara at 10:10 a.m. in Kottayam on July 7. It was attached with Mammootty's latest release "Kasaba," which hits the theatres on Thursday.
The one-minute-15-second teaser has also been released on the YouTube page of Poffactio and features Prithviraj, Balachandra Menon, Rasna Pavithran, Neeraj Madhav, Kishore Satya, Divya Pillai, Pasupathy, V. Jayaprakash and Seetha. While sharing the teaser video, Prithviraj has announced that "Oozham" will be released on September 8.
The shooting of the movie, which went on the floors on April 5 in Chennai, was wrapped up on July 14. The Prithviraj-starrer, which carries the tagline "It's just a matter of time," is now expected to hit the theatres during Onam in September and will be pitted against many big-budget movies that are also scheduled for release during the festive season. "Oozham" is one of the most-anticipated movies of the year as it marks the second time association of the actor-director duo after the 2013 crime thriller "Memories." The first-look poster of the film featuring Prithviraj had recently gone viral and it became one of the most trending topics on social media.
Meanwhile, the trailer of Jayasurya's "Pretham" has been released in theatres in Kerala along with the latest Eid releases "Shajahanum Pareekkuttiyum," "Karinkunnam 6's," "Kasaba" and "Anuraga Karikkin Vellam."
