The wait is finally over for the National Football League (NFL) fans, as they were making their own predictions for NFL draft 2015, which will start on Thursday at Auditorium Theatre in Chicago. The draft will take place for three days as it ends on Saturday.
There are some special players in the draft and a number of teams would be eying such talented bunch of players, but it is Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who will be allowed to go first for the overall pick and the Bucs are expected to go for Florida state quarterback Jameis Winston.
Though Winston might go first, there are several other players who might be in the most wanted list as well. Along with Winston, another talented quarterback, Marcus Mariota, could be picked by the Tennessee Titans.
There is not much to choose between the two quarterbacks, irrespective of which team signs these players, they are going to play an instrumental role in the season.
Considering the importance of a quality quarterback in the league, Winston and Mariota will be the first two players to be picked.
Teams such as Jacksonville Jaguar, Oakland Raiders, Washington Redskins, New York Jets
and Chicago Bears might also have outlined their overall picks. During the draft, teams try to get those players, which will strengthen their team and fill up those positions, which were weak last season.
The event promises to be an exciting one with explosive runners like Todd Gurley, dominant wide receiver Kevin White and many offensive linemen such as Brandon Scherff and Andrus Peat.
There are several big names, which can take the NFL by storm in the coming years and one name, which has been doing the rounds of late is Leonard Williams, who is considered by many as the top player in the draft.
"Leonard Williams is hands down the best player in the draft. He is Reggie White. He can play anything and dominate. Watch the bowl game. When he could have shut it down, he dominated Nebraska. He will be a perennial Pro Bowler ‐ no and's, if's or but's. If I am Love Smith, I'm not taking a chance on a quarterback. I'm taking the sure thing," NJ.com quoted one scout as saying.
If Winston and Mariota are not available, Jacksonville Jaguars are favourites to land Williams.
Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper could be another great pick, as he is one of the most talented receivers in the draft.
