The Miami Heat is just one win away from the marching into the second round, with the defending champions looking to seal the first round series 4-0. On the other hand, Charlotte is chasing their first playoff win, but know they face a formidable side.
Miami have defeated Charlotte 19 consecutive times and they need someone other than Al Jefferson to step up and do the job for them. Jefferson is playing despite a foot injury, which he sustained in the first playoff game.
Jefferson is Bobcats' best man on the court, but he struggled to move freely when he was double-teamed by Miami in Game 3.
"After the first quarter they were very aggressive sending a second defender at Al and much more aggressive with Kemba [Walker]," Charlotte's coach Steve Clifford said. "That means there are other opportunities with other guys and we have to take advantage of that."
Offense is a major concern for the Bobcats, as they were held below 90 points in two of their three postseason encounters. The Heat have managed to top them each time courtesy LeBron James, who has consecutive 30 points outings in the series.
James, averaging 29.7 points and 56.9 per cent shooting, is on top form at the moment and it would require a special effort from the Bobcats to stop him.
Miami are right there where everyone expected them to be before the playoffs and hoping to close out the series in the fourth game itself, but James said that they know it is not going to be an easy ride.
"The closeout game is always the most challenging game, and we've been in a few of them," James said. "But if we come in with the same mindset we did in Game 3 we will give ourselves a great chance to close out in Game 4."
Miami coach Erick Spoelstra also said that they don't want this series to go longer than it needs to go.
