The Golden State Warriors can do nothing wrong at home this season. They have an impeccable record at the Oracle Arena, winning all their matches so far, and they will be keen to continue their dominance when they face the Houston Rockets on Tuesday.
The Warriors are on a league of their own, destroying teams to the hilt. Even when they are challenged, they somehow deliver the goods as was witnessed against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Warriors, despite Kevin Durant's 40 point game, emerged triumphant as their players turned up the heat when it mattered the most.
The energy shown by the crowd during the game brought back playoffs' memories at the Oracle Arena the last season.
"This was very playoff-like for sure,'' AP quoted Curry as saying. ''The atmosphere, just the intensity, the adrenaline down the stretch. That's what you expect for sure. It was good to get that feeling and execute."
At present, it seems that the Warriors have forgotten to lose with players such as Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson playing some unbelievable basketball to entertain fans all around the US. It is a huge treat to witness Curry in action as he makes those unbelievable plays and shots from impossible situations, which makes it fun to watch.
However, the Warriors cannot afford to take Rockets lightly as well. They have some top stars and a team that comprise James Harden will always show strong character as the Rockets number 13 will always inspire his team to perform.
The Rockets, who lie on seventh position in the Western Conference, have two tough games coming up, but the Warriors are going to be their biggest test.
"On the road we've got two games, Golden State and Portland, the team that just beat us tonight so we've got to come out focused on both ends," Harden said.
Harden has been their standout player with 27.8ppg this season, and the player needs to come up with a huge game if the Rockets are to emerge triumphant. Few teams have come close to beating the Warriors at the Oracle Arena, but have failed. Will the Rockets become the first team in the league to defeat the Warriors?
This home game happens to be the last game for the Warriors before the All-Star Weekend and they will be keen to go into the event with wins under their belt.
