The much-awaited trailer of Mohanlal and Priyadarshan's upcoming Malayalam movie "Oppam" was attached along with superstar Rajinikanth latest movie "Kabali" in Kerala. The trailer opened to a positive response from the audience who watched it on the big screens in the state.
The makers have released the one-minute-46-second trailer of the thriller on YouTube as well. The trailer also features Baby Meenakshi, Nedumudi Venu, Chemban Vinod, Vimala Raman, Renji Panicker and Anusree. It has been edited by "Premam"-director Alphonse Puthren. The background score has been composed by Ron Ethan Yohann of ‪"Maya‬"-fame.

Mohanlal plays a blind lift operator in the crime thriller, which marks the reunion of the hit actor-director duo, who have delivered many superhit movies in Malayalam. It is the production venture of Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Films and is scheduled to hit the screens during the second week of September as an Onam release. The film also stars Samuthirakani‬, Aju Varghese, Harish KR and Innocent.
The trailer of "Oppam" was attached with much-hyped Rajinikanth-starrer as Mohanlal had bagged the theatrical rights of the thriller in Kerala for a whopping price of approximately Rs. 7.5 crore under his production banner Maxlab.
