ABC's "Modern Family" is all set to go on its mid-season break, and ahead of that all the family members are going on a vacation in pursuit of the picture-perfect "White Christmas" Gloria (Sofia Vergara) dreams of.
In the upcoming Season 7 Episode 9, we will see all of the extended family moving to a cabin in the mountains, but things take a turn for the worse when they get bombarded with one mishap after another. While the Pritchetts and the Dunphys were hoping for a "White Christmas", what awaited them at the cabin was weather hotter than Los Angeles.
They, however, try to make the most of the situation, and we even see Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam (Eric Stonestreet) trying to put on a show for the rest of the family. However, Mitch ends up falling off of the piano during his performance.

On top of all that, they also have to deal with an "eccentric random guest" who, as is turns out, had been already living in the cabin before they arrived. Fig Wilson, a woman who has been spending the holidays in the cabin with her family for many years, is surprised to see her family rented it out to another family. While the rest of the family seems eager to get rid of her, Cam invites her to join in on the celebrations.
Meanwhile, the shippers of Andy (Adam Devine) and Haley (Sarah Hyland) have great things to look forward to, because according to the official synopsis of "Modern Family" Season 7 Episode 9, the couple seems incapable of keeping their hands off each other.
