The latest installment of "Madam Secretary," Season 2 episode 21, titled "Connection Lost," captures Murphy Station's dangerous journey to Pakistan. Henry, Jane and Jose pursue Jibral Disah, but while they are at it, Henry will be preoccupied with other things.
[Spoiler Alert]
In last week's episode, Henry (Tim Daly) and his wife, Elizabeth (Téa Leoni) experienced a huge problem in their marriage. Henry, hurt by Bess's decision to form a coalition with Russia, hired a lawyer to represent Talia, Dmitri's jailed sister. When Bess tried to stop Amnesty International from reporting about Talia, Daisy informed her that it was Henry, who relayed the news to the non-profit organisation.
So far, Henry and Bess's marriage has been something of a miraculous union between two people. Will it crumble by the end of Season 2?
Perhaps not. According to the synopsis (via TV Guide) for episode 21, Bess and Henry begin to see a couples therapist. This may bring them together again, but the power couple will have little time to focus on their marriage. In the upcoming episode, Bess will have to deal with a nuclear problem that confronts the U.S.
In the promo (via Spoilers Guide) for episode 21, Bess and President Dalton talk about Pakistan's nuclear weapons. Henry asks on the phone, "Did Pakistan give U.S. access to track its nuclear weapons?" While it is unclear what Henry is trying to seek, perhaps it will be revealed when the episode is aired.
"Madam Secretary" Season 2 episode 21 is aired 8 p.m. EST on Sunday, April 24 on CBS. You can live-stream the episode via CBS All Access.
