Liverpool FC are set to welcome the dynamic duo of Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino back to their lineup after the Brazilian pair were benched in the Reds' previous Premier League game against Everton. Anfield remains the centre of attraction once again on Wednesday as Liverpool take on West Brom.
Jurgen Klopp's side are looking to regaining their 4th position in the table from Burnley by winning against West Brom, who are already relegation-threatened this season.
The Baggies have failed to win even one of their last five matches, which includes two defeats. Liverpool, meanwhile, who won 5-1 against Brighton earlier this month, thanks to the magic of Firmino and Coutinho, will look to avenge their 1-1 draw in the Merseyside derby last weekend.
Alan Pardew, West Brom coach, knows the immense pressure he is under. Time could be running down for him if the team doesn't start getting positive results as the first period of the Premier League season heads to a close.
"We are in a situation where we need points. We need to fight to get something out of the game," said Pardew, as per the BBC.
"The players understand the way I want to play. In the two games I've had as manager I can only think of one small moment where we made an error defensively. But we have to threaten the goal more.
"We are a team that needs to gain momentum. There's still a long way to go and we've got some key players to come back. That gives me heart."
