Senior actor Dr Mohan Babu's son Manchu Manoj is getting engaged to his girlfriend Pranathi Reddy on 4 March. Their engagement event is being live streamed on YouTube.
Pranathi Reddy is a close friend of Vishnu Manchu's wife Viranica. She has graduated from BITS. Viranica introduced Manchu Manoj to her at a family event a few years ago. Having met a couple of times later, the two fell in love and dated for a few years before deciding to take their relationship to the next level.
The families of Manchu Manoj and Pranathi Reddy approved their relationship. Both the families met recently to finalise the date of engagement as well as of the wedding. Manoj is the last person to get married in Manchu family. His father Mohan Babu, sister Lakshmi and brother Vishnu recently expressed their excitement on Twitter over his engagement.
Manchu family has organised a grand function for the engagement of Manchu Manoj and Pranathi Reddy at Park Hyatt in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The event has been scheduled for 10.30 am on Wednesday. It is expected to be the biggest Tollywood family event of 2015. On Tuesday evening, Vishnu Manchu tweeted, "Cannot believe my little brother is getting engaged. @the venue. Filling it with flowers. Jasmine. Tons of them. Surreal."
Manchu family has maintained very good relationship with everyone in the Telugu film industry. The family members also have many friends in other film industries like Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. They are also close to people in the political arena.
