Barcelona take on Almeria at the Camp Nou on Wednesday as they look to cement their position at the top of the La Liga.
Apart their unexpected defeat to Malaga on 21 February, the Catalans have been in excellent form, recording 11 wins in 13 La Liga fixtures since the turn of the New Year.
Although they are four points clear of their rivals Real Madrid at the top of the La Liga, Barcelona cannot afford to relax as a couple of slip-ups at this stage of the season could prove to be fatal.
The Catalans were not very convincing in their last fixture as they were just able to record a narrow 1-0 win over Celta Vigo courtesy of a late header from Jeremy Mathieu.
Barcelona finishing during that game was pretty disappointing as they were only able to get three shots on target despite managing to create 12 chances.
The Catalan-based club, however, are expected to beat the relegation threatened Almeria, who are currently in 18th position in the La Liga table.
Due to this reason, there were suggestions that manager Luis Enrique would be resting some of his players on Wednesday.
But the Spaniard insists that he is taking each and every game very seriously regardless of their opponent's form.
"We'll be taking this game as seriously as any other, knowing that we have to get things right if we want to be sure of the three points," the former Celta Vigo boss told Barcelona's official website. "If we want to win the league, then we have to make sure we win this game."
Meanwhile, Almeria will also be hoping to do well in this fixture despite them being the clear underdogs against Barcelona on Wednesday.
The Rojiblancos, who recently appointed Sergi Barjuan as their new manager, following the dismissal of Juan Ignacio Martínez, will be hoping that their new boss will be able to keep them in the La Liga next season.
And Barjuan says he is looking to do exactly that.
"This is a team that, exploiting the strengths of their players, has to be higher in the standings,'' he told the club's official website. "We must work on this. There are many teams involved in the fight against relegation, and one who thinks they are already safe may fall."
Expected Line-ups:
Barcelona: Bravo; Adriano, Pique, Mathieu, Alves; Xavi, Busquets, Rakitic; Neymar, Suarez, Messi
Almeria: Julian; Dubarbier, Dos Santos, Navarro, Trujillo; Soriano, Corona; Azeez, Silva, Bifouma; Hemed
