The month of December has seen trailer releases of some promising movies ahead of the New Year. The month has already seen trailer releases of Baywatch, Despicable Me 3, Spider Man: The Homecoming Dunkirk and others. Adding to the list, the trailer of the second edition of the John Wick series is out and the power-pack promo promises more action, more blood and definitely a deeper look into Wick's life.
"You have no idea what's coming," Ian McShane says to every Keanu Reeves fan who has been eagerly awaiting the sequel of John Wick, John Wick: Chapter 2. In the second trailer, fans see that Wick has retired from his game as he packs his weapons and buries them, and refuses to head back to the life he has given up. Until one day, when professional killers attack his house and he is forced to come back into the game.
The plot goes international as Wick's story is transported from New York to Rome. Unprepared for what the assignment could hold, Wick is seen loading his gun to prepare for action. You know it is going to get bloody when Laurence Fishburne orders Wick be given a gun.
Through the streets and hotels of Rome, Wick is not back for vengeance, he is back for justice. "Whoever comes here, I will kill them, I will kill them all," exclaims Wick in the trailer. The trailer also shows Ruby Rose in an action packed avatar as well.
The trailer comes two months after the first look and first trailer were launched in October. Through the trailer, it is evident that the sequel is going to get personal and we will get a back story of John Wick's life. The film is scheduled for release on February 20 2017.
