Shadow Chancellor of the Excheqeur John McDonnell pledged that Labour will scrap tution fees during a speech in Mansfield on 29 April. McDonnell also went on to say that Labour would introduce a National Education Services, similar to the NHS, that would provide free education and childcare for those that need it.
