The much-awaited trailer of actor Jayasurya's upcoming Malayalam movie, "Pretham," was released online on Saturday, July 9. The one-minute-44-second video, which was recently shown along with the Eid releases "Kasaba," "Shajahanum Pareekuttiyum," "Karinkunnam 6's" and "Anuraga Karikkin Vellam" in a few theatres in Kerala, has now been released on the YouTube channel of Dreams N Beyond.
The trailer of the Ranjith Sankar-directed movie features Jayasurya, Aju Varghese, Govind Padmasoorya (GP), Sharafudheen, Pearle Maaney, Hareesh Peradi, Vijay Babu, Devan and Dharmajan Bolgatty. In "Pretham," Jayasurya plays a mysterious mentalist named Don Bosco, who can read the minds of people. Sharafudheen plays a troller named Priyalal, while Aju and GP will be seen as Benny Kokkan and Shibu Majeed, respectively. The makers and the actors have requested the audience to watch the trailer till the end.
Jayasurya's tonsured look in the film has already raised the expectations of the audience from the upcoming horror film, which marks the reunion of Ranjith and Jayasurya after the superhit movie "Su.. Su... Sudhi Vathmeekam." The versatile actor had won the National Film Special Jury Mention 2015 for his performance as a stammerer in the family entertainer.
"Pretham" is being jointly produced by the actor-director duo under their home banner of Dreams N Beyond. Jayasurya-starrer "Pretham" is scheduled to lock horns with the actor's action thriller "Inspector Dawood Dawood Ibrahim," which is set to hit the screens on August 12.
