In the next episode of The CW's "iZombie" titled "Zombie Bro," Major (Robert Buckley) will find himself being blackmailed by Vaughn (Steven Weber), the leader of Max Rager.
Vaughn threatened Major to turn him to the police and told him that he will kill his ex-fiancée Liv (Rose McIver) if Major doesn't kill every zombie in Seattle.

According to the official synopsis of the episode, "Liv and Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) investigate the murder of a hard-partying frat boy. After Liv consumes the victim's brains, she attends a fraternity party to search for clues. Meanwhile, Ravi brings Major into the probe; and Blaine (David Anders) meets with Angus (Robert Knepper), a mysterious person from his past."
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, series' executive producer Rob Thomas said that as Major can't trust anybody to confide in about his secret mission, he will find himself getting addicted to Utopium.
"This will send Major spiralling into a Utopium addiction. And that runs hand-in-hand with his difficult relationship with Liv who isn't as aware as Ravi (Rahul Kohli) will be to what Major is going through. Ravi doesn't even know about Major killing zombies but Ravi will at least see the addiction problems firsthand that Liv doesn't," he said.
However, Thomas assured the fans that Major won't struggle with his mortality throughout the season.
As reported by E! News, Thomas said that Major is not going to sit back and take it all season.
"At some point, he has got to figure out how to turn the tables on Max Ranger. It's not that you will watch 22 episodes of him forlornly simply going about this task."
Thomas didn't confirm when the event will take place. However, he teased about an upcoming scene where Major realises that he has to put an end to the zombie killing spree.
"Eventually, he goes to take out a zombie and it doesn't go exactly as planned and he gets to have a conversation about it with a zombie who he is abducting, and we finally get to hear a bit about what's in Major's head. But it takes a few episodes to get there. It's written but not shot yet and it's going to be great" he said.
